EndNote Guide / APA Referencing Guide

This guide provides comprehensive instructions on the installation and use of the reference management software EndNote.

Creating your first EndNote Library

An EndNote library is a collection of references.  When opening EndNote the first time a pop-up window will appear, click Create a new library.  Name your library or accept the default name and save to your Documents folder.  Never save EndNote libraries to cloud syncing folders such as Dropbox or OneDrive as these corrupt references over time.

Creating another EndNote Library

To create another library, click File and New.  Name your library and save to your Documents folder.  Never save EndNote libraries to cloud syncing folders such as Dropbox or OneDrive as these corrupt references over time.
