Library study rooms

Two study rooms are available in the Invercargill SIT Library, these rooms include a computer, projector or smart television and whiteboard/s (the library can provide whiteboard pens).

Bookings are essential and can be made at the SIT Library front counter, by email or phone.  The study rooms are very popular so book in advance.

Study room usage policy:

  • The study room is for student use only
  • The study room can be booked for up to two hours
  • If you are 10 minutes late you forfeit your entire booking
  • The study room can be used by a single person or group
  • No eating in the study room
  • Drinks must be in either a water bottle or lidded (travel) cup
  • You can open the windows but please ask library staff to turn off the heatpump

SIT Library reserves the right to alter bookings.  Please respect your fellow students and use the study rooms honestly and fairly.
